Implementation Consultant - Supply Chain Systems - Kent

We have another exciting opportunity with a client who specialise in the provision of ERP and CRM software for FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale and Apparel organisations in the UK. Their specific expertise covers Supply Chain, but we are looking for business and functional / implementation experts from the ERP and CRM or Middleware Software space. Our client is a provider of ERP and CRM solutions for clients across both private and public sector organisations and they are now looking to grow their client facing resources to accommodate for the growth over the last 12 months and predicted growth over the foreseeable future. We are looking to identify an Implementation / Business consultant with expertise of ERP software systems, ideally involved in the delivery/implementation of supply chain modules, or ideally someone who has worked in the supply chain operations of an FMCG, Manufacturing or Wholesale organisation. As the Implementation / Business Consultant, you will be required to; liaise with the business - to analyse determine and document the business requirements to help the business find the solution to their business needs; Identify product configuration and customization requirements; Identify gaps between functionalities and business requirements; assist the business & IT staff with the parameterization and configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the Requirements Document; Organize and plan the detailed test strategy with the client; User Acceptance & Operations testing of the system with the client; Assist in the resolution of issues raised by the business during testing; Liaise with the business, the vendor and the Project Manager to understand the business strategy on conversion & roll out; Provide systems support during data conversion & branch roll out activities to ensure successful system roll out; Design (or adjustment to design) and deliver Training Courses to give the client a practical functional knowledge of the product(s). Essentially the focus will be on working with external customers to understand business drivers, ideas, desires and requirements, defining the requirements and then identifying what solution would work best with respect to the current product set with any enhancements that could be beneficial. The candidate will be client facing and clients are found across the UK and as such, flexibility to travel will be important. When you are not travelling, you will be required to be in the office. This role would suit a good business analyst, business consultant, systems analyst with sound business knowledge and commercial acumen, as well as a Supply Chain Manager or Senior Supply Chain Consultant.
