Implementation Consultant - Treasury Systems - Northern Euro

We have an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Consultant with expertise of Treasury and Treasury Systems to work for a Global Software Company in Northern Europe (UK & Scandinavia. This is an exciting opportunity because the company is witnessing some real growth in projects, revenue, profitability, new client acquisition and client retention. As a result they are looking to add to their existing Implementation Services team. Our client is a specialist and global provider of Treasury software solutions and services and we are looking to identify an Implementation Consultant / Functional Lead / Implementation Manager / Project Lead / Lead Business Analyst with expertise of Treasury Systems, Software Products to work on a permanent basis in North Europe (UK & Scandinavia). The candidate will report to the Head of Professional Services for Northern Europe with the responsibility to lead the implementation of packaged treasury software to external customers in the treasury space across Northern Europe; principally the major financial cities. The successful candidate will demonstrate good, solid treasury business area expertise as well as treasury systems experience covering the delivery of treasury products from organisations such as but not limited to Murex, Calypso, Misys, Temenos, Oracle, SAP, Wall Street Systems, IT2, SunGard, Reval, Kyriba or ThomsonReuters. My client will also consider candidates who work in Treasury Departments with solid software systems experience and some implementation experience; i.e. Treasury Managers, Treasury Analysts, Treasury Officers etc. As part of this role, you will work with external corporate customers across the major financial centres in Northern Europe working with a portfolio of customers with multiple projects at anyone time all at different stages; you will need to demonstrate good client facing, people and communication skills. The experience you will demonstrate will be full life cycle, because your efforts will be placed into assignments at pre-sales stages, solutions design, RFP/RFI, as well as design-config, development, testing, implementation-rollout, go-live to also include training. If you are from the business side working in the Treasury Department, you will not need all of this. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate solid experience of all these different stages involved with the delivery of treasury / banking software product solutions. Some examples of your responsibilities will be to; liaise with the business - to analyse determine and document the business requirements to help the business find the solution to their business needs; Identify product configuration and customization requirements; Identify gaps between functionalities and business requirements; assist the business & IT staff with the parameterization and configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the in Requirements Document; Organize and plan the detailed test strategy with the client; User Acceptance & Operations testing of the system with the client; Assist in the resolution of issues raised by the business during testing; Liaise with the business to understand the business strategy on conversion & roll out; Provide systems support during data conversion & branch roll out activities to ensure successful system roll out; Design (or adjustment to design) and deliver Training Courses to give the client a practical functional knowledge of the product(s). This role is based in either London or Copenhagen.
