Bi Lingual (Japanese & English) Project Manager required on a perm basis to join my client; a global IT solutions provider. The role will involve pre-sales activities to ensure achievement of JMNC sales divisions annual sales targets by the quality delivery of the ICT service portfolio to existing & new clients. Experience of delivery within the JMNC market (Japanese Multinational Corporate) is highly desirable. The Service portfolio includes Network integration, Managed Hosting / Data Centre solutions, System integration, IT Management services and IP Transit.
The role will require the successful individual to build and maintain strong relationships with my clients HQ in Japan whilst providing quality Project Management to their premier enterprise customers. This role will include occasional international travel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, spotting issues and proposing suitable solutions; Liaise between the customer and internal teams; manage pre sales activities for multiple complex Projects; work in partnership with various teams across the globe; manage all Projects within strict budget and timescales whilst ensuring smooth handover of the implemented solutions / services to the customer; demonstrate the ability to take ownership whilst ensuring all Project documentation is kept inline with quality standards.
You will have a proven track record in the management of Projects within the ICT industry; preferably within the JMNC market; speak fluent Japanese & English (both verbal & written); ability to multi task and prioritise workload; demonstrate a business led approach to solution selling with the ability to think analytically and deliver varied solutions. Experience across the delivery of WAN (IP VPN, Internet VPN, x DSL, WAN optimization) and LAN infrastructure (Windows servers, exchange servers, network storage, backup technologies, security appliance, software, remote access solutions etc) and will be PRINCE2 certified or equivalent.
