We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with fluency in Mandarin and English to work on an International Project to deliver a Mobile Banking Solution to a Tier 1 Bank.
The Project Management role is based in Singapore with some Asian travel also a requirement, but we are looking for Singapore, Malaysian, Thai or South East Asian based Project Managers, fluent in Mandarin and English with Retail Banking and Software Delivery experience. Ideally the Project Manager will also be certified in one or more of PMP, PRINCE2, MSP and have vast experience of delivering eBanking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Self Service Channels, Branch Automation, Payments & Transaction or Core Banking software to international banks.
The role works within the professional services division of a global banking software & services company working with Tier 1, 2 and 3 Retail and Corporate Banks internationally. As the Professional Services Project Manager, your responsibility is the client (the Bank), the internal piers, the delivery centre and the team helping to deliver the project. The customer does not see a lot of the effort, because the design-config and build is done offshore only arriving onsite, when the modules are ready. The Project Manager will need to; manage the team of technical and business resources who are based in multiple international locations; the client relationship consisting of business leaders, executives, IT resources; any 3rd party relationships from vendors delivering other services such as consulting, outsourcing and software delivery.
Your responsibilities will include; Project Management the implementation of Banking software solutions to a client across multiple sites; execute / deliver a large 2-3 year project and have an understanding of both fixed priced and time & materials assignments; ensure that customer solutions are delivered on time, within scope and to budget and to the required quality standards as defined by my clients implementation methodology. You will maintain, develop and manage 3rd party resources ensuring financial value to the organisation. You must be able to manage risks and issues and demonstrate your ability to lead, motivate and communicate effectively at all levels.
