Quality Assurance Consultant - Financial Systems - London

We have an extremely exciting opportunity for a smart, intelligent, well educated, communicative and business focused Quality Assurance Consultant with experience of working for a software vendor to join a growing global financial software provider. The role will see this person work on the testing, QA and fixing of the product development as well as the tailoring of that product to suit specific customer requirements. We are looking for someone with 2-5 years professional experience and someone who has worked on the development of software products, as apposed to bespoke development. This role is based in London, is permanent and will report to the Development Team Leader. You will have; 1st class or 2:1 Degree in from a leading and globally recognized university; at least 2 years professional experience ideally 2-5 years experience; thorough understanding of testing processes and methods; at least 1 year of automated testing; 1-2 years of functional testing; experience of working in an Agile environment; experience of developing software products; worked in small team environments (3-10 people); and ideally have experience on financial software applications; a good understanding of testing for major enhancements, new developments, upgrades as well as maintenance fixes and bugs; Microsoft Test Manager Tool Set.
